Brian Lee & the Orbiters 2018 "Best of the Blues" Award

Thank you to the Washington Blues Society membership for your 2018 Best of the Blues award for "Best Traditional Blues Band"!

It's really an honor to be considered for this years awards with all the great bands and musicians who are nominated!

New Video of Brian Lee & the Orbiters by Dave Jacobs!
Our good friend Dave Jacobs caught our recent Orbiters performance at the Easy Monkey Taphouse, and fired up his video camera to record  harmonica duets with another great friend sitting in - harp man Bill Davis. Nominated for a "Best of the Blues" award from the Washington Blues Society this year, Bill is a mighty fine harp player! We're taking on Little Walter's "It Ain't Right", and Jimmy Roger's "If It Ain't Me", and it's cookin'! Thanks to Dave for posting his cool videos!

Check out all of these new videos on our videos page , which also includes many other cool videos by friends and fans - we sure appreciate the fine video work of everyone who has taken the time and effort to shoot and post these performances and to provide the links so we can make them easily available for you!!

Video of Brian Lee & the Orbiters by John Gulla!
Our videos page also features a great video by our good friend John Gulla! John was at our most recent Salmon Bay Eagles performance, and just happened to have his camera on hand to catch the Orbiters on our version of Billy Boy Arnold's "I Wish You Would". Great fun! Thanks so much for shooting the video and for posting it John! Great job capturing this tune from a very fun evening!

Thanks to "Seattle's Blues Clubhouse" the Salmon Bay Eagles,  for many years of opportunities to perform our straight ahead blues!  If you haven't been there yet, do check it out!
